At Longboard Construction Inc., we know that our people are our number one resource, and take pride in making safety our top priority. We strive to work towards zero incidents every year. Through implementing and enforcing a strong safety program, we have been able to keep injuries and incidents to a minimum. Annual HSE auditing and best practice adaptation is one way we evolve our safety program to become even stronger as our company grows.
The safety component of our corporate culture is created by management’s strong leadership as well as our employee’s active participation in the program. As a prime contractor, we have a high degree of responsibility to maintain a safe environment on every worksite. Managers and workers collaborate during safety meetings, hazard assessments, safety inspections, and training initiatives which ensures understanding and positive action.

Alberta Construction Safety Association (ACSA)
Longboard Construction Inc. is a member of the ACSA and utilizes the organization for education and training in construction safety. Our workers, supervisors, managers, and safety coordinators have all received various levels of training through the ACSA.
